The kennel started in 1986 with the sheltie-ancestress Eikica Odds-On Ofie. Ofie was born 9th of july 1984, granddaughter of the first shetland sheepdog in Denmark to obtain the title "Danish obedience champion".
Ofie was Annettes first dog that was her own. The famility included at that time already of another sheltie, Pippi, DKLCH Shellove Surpice. Annette and Pippi attended obedience training classes with changing success, so Annette wanted a dog to train from puppyhood, as Pippi was 3 years old, before she started the training. The ambition for Ofie, when she was purchased, was that she should obtain the title "Danish Obedience Champion".
That succeeded when Ofie was 28 months old. Pippi herself became also obedience champion, but she was almost 11 years old, before it happened. Pippi was putted to sleep 7th of December 1992 - almost 15 years old.
During Ofies career, she had the honour of being a member of the Danish national obedience team for several years. She was also the first Danish dog to become Finnish obedience champion and was among the four best obedience dogs in Denmark for six succeeding years in the "Obedience dog of the year" competition. In 1993 she also won the Danish championships in obedience - in the competition class: obedience-class 4.
Ofie also obtained a show champion title in 1988 and an agility champion title as it was introduced in Denmark. She never achieved the jumping champion title as we went for it too late. She gained 2 of the required 3 winners placements in jumping class 3. But then she became too old to win this class. She was also very close to obtaining the exhibition title "Club champion" (for national champions to acquire at special shows), too. Only 1 certificate were missing out of the required 4.
Ofie was putted to sleep 20th september 1996 where her liver gave up - only 12 years old.
