Kiva has human-friends enough to start a fan club of her own. She is a very popular member of our kennel - eventhough she is the "wrong" breed. She is a smooth collie, born 5/2-92, and she is the "beauty" of the family.
She is Danish, Finnish and international beauty champion, Danish obedience champion (as the first smooth collie) and she is also doing agility class 3. Kiva is the first (and also only) smooth collie which has ever gained an jumping champion title. She became jumping champion in June 1999 - 5 years after her first winners placement in jumping class 3. The handler was Winni Birkenfeldt who has taken over Kiva's agility career from 1999 because of Annettes pregnancy and because Kiva loves Winni and therefore runs very fast with her. Succeeding their success with the jumping champion title, Kiva and Winni went for the agility champion title,- which came to reality June 4th, 2000 - where the last winners placement in agility class 3 was gained.
Therefore Kiva became the only Collie in Denmark (Nordic countries) who posseses champion titles in all 3 disciplines: show, agility and obedience.
Kiva was "Agility Collie of the Year" in both 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Kiva is a nice familily dog with a will of her own, but she is so good with Rune and our friends adore her, because of her friendly temper.
Kiva was put to sleep on December 12th 2003, where here body was in too much pain to have a satisfactory life for her.
